Wolfenden Fundraiser a Success

On Monday, July 17, 2017, PLEA hosted a benefit cookout on behalf of Phoenix Police Officer James Wolfenden, who was critically injured in an on-duty vehicle collision this past Father’s Day.

Facilitated by officers from the Cactus Park Precinct, it ran from 11:00 am until 11:00 pm to accommodate all three shifts, including Officer Wolfenden’s squad.

Nearly $10,000 was raised from contributions received at the cookout as well as online donations made through PLEA Charities.
