On Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011, the City Council sat down to hear task force recommendations regarding changes it felt should be made after City Manager David Cavazos convened the group in April to probe ways to improve services for residents in the wake of complaints of officer misconduct. Many of those complaints centered on south Phoenix and South Mountain Precinct.
