Force Science Research Institute Explains Differences between Myth & Reality Regarding Officer Involved Shootings

Always on the cutting edge of police use of force analysis, the staff from Force Science Research Institute have recently produced and released a 17-minute video to combat commonly held public myths regarding police shootings. The video discusses controversial topics that often erupt in public venues after police use of force incidents to include shooting weapons out of the hands of suspects, shooting knife wielding suspects as opposed to disarming them and how easy it is to have a situation where a suspect can be shot in the back during an explosive use of force situation that may only take seconds start to finish.
