At long last the city has made a decision in the process of selecting a new Police Chief for the city of Phoenix. At a 3:30 pm press conference held at city hall on March 26, 2012, City Manager David Cavazos announced that current Dallas PD candidate Danny Garcia would be the new Police Chief for the City of Phoenix.
PLEA extends heartfelt congratulations to Chief Garcia on his new appointment and looks forward to forging a cooperative partnership with him in order to deal with the myriad issues currently facing the department.
