Since May of this year, there has been an increase in anti-police rhetoric all across the country and locally, the Phoenix Police Department has been under fire from anti-police activists for over a year now. Despite this rhetoric, a recent poll of Phoenix voters, conducted by OH Predictive Insights, shows the following:
- 59% of Phoenix voters surveyed gave the Phoenix Police Department an “A” or “B” grade.
- Compared to other major city police departments across the country, 45% of Phoenix voters believe the Phoenix Police Department does a somewhat or much better job than those departments and 73% of Phoenix voters believe we do as good a job or better.
- Over 70% of Phoenix voters believe the Phoenix Police Department does as good a job or better than other major cities when it comes to shortening response times and preventing violent crime.
