Labor Board Rules in Favor of PLEA
When PSB investigators questioned PLEA representatives about your union’s internal policies, internal operations, and practices during the course of an investigation to which such an interrogation had no relevance, PLEA filed an unfair labor practice against the City for this interference, alleging a violation of the Meet & Confer Ordinance. After a hearing, the Labor Board unanimously agreed. The notice which you are seeing on the bulletin boards is the result of PLEA’s successful unfair labor practice charge. The City is being admonished to cease and desist from interfering with PLEA in the future.
