On August 13, 2009 PPSLA was removed from the APA (Arizona Police Association). None of the fellow APA members objected to PPSLA’s loss of membership. The day before on August 12, PPSLA filed yet another bar complaint against PLEA attorney Mike Napier in a futile attempt to link him to their recent ouster from the APA. PPSLA was removed from the APA by a unified vote of 12 member groups within the organization. More importantly, while some member organizations chose to abstain from the vote, not one member organization in the APA agreed to stand with PPSLA in their bid to remain a member.
