On Wednesday, November 4, 2009, City Manager Frank Fairbanks retired after 20 years of dedicated service in the city’s top position. PLEA was in attendance with numerous other city officials at City Hall to bid farewll to Mr. Fairbanks. PLEA presented the Glock 21 in walnut presentation case (pictured at right) to Mr. Fairbanks as a thank you from the organization not only for his dedicated years of service but for the true friendship and professionalism he has shown in dealing with PLEA over his many years of service. PLEA congratulates Frank on a successful and distinguished career and wishes him the best for a happy and healthy retirement.
