On Tuesday, August 21, 2012, PLEA Board members Jerry Gannon and Franklin Marino attended a uniform committee meeting held at police headquarters. PLEA’s position on Class D uniforms was again re-iterated stating that we belive the Class D is a perfectly acceptable utility uniform and that we don’t need to re-invent the wheel. At a certain point the discussion became contentious. A/C Tracy Montgomery then stopped the meeting and told the assembled group that the adversarial relationship between PLEA and management is over and that we are burying the hatchet. PLEA would like to thank A/C Montgomery for re-iterating the sentiments expressed in a meeting between PLEA and management on Friday, August 17, 2012.
