Several officers have called the PLEA office in recent days expressing concerns about new booking procedures that are being implemented. PLEA Trustee Frank Marino out of Central City Precinct has sat on the department’s Jail/Booking process committee for the last several years. At the request of PLEA, Ofc. Marino authored a report in order to explain some of the behind-the-scenes issues with regard to the process.
