On Wednesday December 21, 2011, representatives from the MCSO Advisory Posse met with and presented a $15,000 memorial fund check to Officer Tony Daley and his wife Stephanie. Tony recently sustained serious injuries in the line of duty while responding on a trespass call when a suspect fired on him multiple times at close range. Although partially protected by his body armor, one of the rounds was able to punch through the lower edge of the front panel of his vest causing serious internal injuries.
