On Tuesday May 20, 2014, the Daryl Raetz memorial marker was formally unveiled in a ceremony at 10:00 a.m. at 2602 N. 51 Av. On hand for the dedication were Daryl’s family members co workers and citizen supporters. Daryl was also officially recognized the previous week in Washington DC during National Police Week when his name was etched into the stone face of the National Police Memorial and his name was read into the record during the candle light vigil.
