K9 Dax

K9 Dax was shot and killed while assisting the Special Assignments Unit search a home of a homicide suspect on West Carson Road. The subject opened fire on Dax with a 12-gauge shotgun, killing him. The man was subsequently shot and killed after shooting and wounding two officers.
