Officer John A. Robertson

On November 17th, 1984, Officer Robertson was shot and killed while working off-duty at a Phoenix motel. He was in a motel parking lot questioning a suspect in the robbery of two truck drivers when the suspect shot Officer Robertson. Officer Robertson died two days later on November 19th, 1984. He was an eight year veteran of the Phoenix Police Department and thirty-one years old at the time of his death. Officer Robertson was survived by his wife and two young children.
